This cart's versatility can help you get your outdoor work done in less time.
You can either ride the cart while you tote your materials around the yard or you can walk along side it. Using the joystick to drive the cart makes moving heavy materials much more manageable.
It has an 18V and 18Ah rechargeable battery that I made to fit the power requirements I needed. This cart maneuvers like a zero turn mower with the wheels powered in the back and caster wheels on the front.

The Build
The pictures below give an idea of how I built this machine. I started with the foot platform and then I built the rest of the frame. Building the speed controller and battery took some time to make. I like to take a little more time to think things through when I'm working on devices with larger amperage draws.

More about this project
This was a fun machine to build. I made it because I like creating motorized machines and I needed help when I was moving things around when we had a yard to clean up.
This project gave me a chance to use the CNC I built to make a couple of the parts I needed. It also gave me more experience with making battery packs.
